Public transport in the Lake Neusiedl Region
The public transport network in the Lake Neusiedl Region is fully developed and enables one to have ”soft mobility” movement within the Region.
Tip: Public transport is free with the Lake Neusiedl Card.
Outward journey with luggage: The linked transport system provides only barrier-free low floor and low entry buses for public transportation in the Lake Neusiedl Region. Please bear in mind that these buses only take a restricted amount of luggage as they have no extra space for luggage. We request groups in particular to enquire about this from VOR, the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region or East Region Transport Association.
Coming from the north and west via the A4 motorway, Exit Neusiedl am See.
From the south via the A2 motorway, the S4 and S31 roads to Eisenstadt, and finally the B50 to Neusiedl am See.
