We want you as consumer of our wines to taste the regional typicalities, the climate, the terroir as well as the carefulness we put into the work in the vineyards and the cellar. In order to reach this goal, we have applied an autochthonal way of working that is very close to nature.
We don’t want to copy wines from other regions or countries and we don’t follow hypes. We refuse to use tricky methods to make the same uniform wine year after year. But this doesn’t mean that time stands still in our winery. We combine nature and tradition with modern techniques in vineyard and cellar to create honest and high quality wines. And we are convinced: What you miss to achieve in the vineyards you can’t make up for in the cellar. Reduction in harvest quantities and rigorous selection of grapes are only two examples that cater for the well-known Pöckl taste sensations.
